Evan Montvel and Rex Sorensen continue to develop Pacific Isander talent.

DJ Fredtastic joins the Power 98 team as the 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. host. Sorensen Media Group CEO Rex Sorensen said, “Fred has experience in the local radio business and he is a young man with a great future in radio. He also has a following.”

Sorensen Media Group and Lotus Media Services Managing Director Evan M. Cohen said, “Fredtastic is a dynamic and energetic personality and you can hear it in his delivery. He definitely has a following of young listeners. The elements that he provides during his show are entertaining.”

Ambrosia Mae also makes her debut as the host of the middays on Power 98 FM. Sorensen welcomed Ambrosia to her spot on the middays, “Ambrosia worked with us for a time doing the evening shifts. An opportunity opened up with Dice returning to Saipan's Power 99 and we thought she would be a welcomed edition to daytime radio.”

Cohen said, “Ambrosia has a unique voice, delivery, and personality. We felt she would be appropriate to fill the midday spot between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. There are many male voices in the radio business but there are very few women and this definitely brings a different type of demographic to Power 98.”

Sorensen and Cohen said both on-air talents were chosen based on their skills and their ability to bring listeners to the radio station.

Meanwhile, Dice makes her way back to Power 99 FM in Saipan. According to Dice an opportunity opened up in Saipan and she decided to make her way back to the station that helped her get her start in the radio business. Dice said, “I really liked Guam and what I learned in the short time that I worked the middays but Saipan is home and when the opportunity opened up on Power 99 I had to take it. I am proud to have built a following of listeners on Guam and would like to tell them 'thanks' and 'goodbye'.”

Sorensen said, “Dice learned a lot during her time on Guam and we know she will use this knew found knowledge to make improvements to the radio industry in Saipan.”

Cohen said, “Dice knows the market in Saipan and it would be a shame to not utilize that knowledge to grow the business and listenership there. Overall, it was a sound management decision to have Dice return to Saipan.”

Evan Montvel Cohen says DOT DOT DOT eliminated from show.

The Dot Dot Dot band has been impressing judges with their great performances but it was not enough to convince America to let them stay in the running in "The Next Great American Band."

Dot Dot Dot, which features Guam music's sensation Rose Ana Laguana, bowed out of the competition last night.

Sorensen Media Group Managing Director Evan Cohen congratulates the band on their tremendous showing and rise to fame.

Of the tens of thousands who auditioned for "The Next Great American Band," only 12 bands including Dot Dot Dot were picked to appear on the show. The band did well enough to land on the top five.

Dot Dot Dot is a rock band from Chicago, Illinois. The band became a huge hit on the island because of its lead guitarist Laguana, who is a native of Guam.

Meanwhile, the remaining four bands performed one Queen song and one song they wrote themselves.

The Clark Brothers performed the Queen song "These Are The Days Of Our Lives." They also performed an original composition entitled "Homestead."

Light of Doom performed the Queen song "We Will Rock You" and their own composition "A Matter Of Time."

Sixwire sang "Fat Bottomed Girls" and their own composition entitled "Go On."

The fourth band, Denver And The Mile High Orchestra, sang "Sleeping On The Sidewalk" and a their own song entitled "Big White House." -

Evan Cohen says sci-fi and comedy fans will find Pushing Up Daises entertaining.

Sorensen Media Group CEO Rex Sorensen said, “This show puts a comedic sci-fi twist on the traditional private investigator shows of the past. The odd and truly untouchable relationship between two of the main characters of the show should make for good material in future episodes.”

Lotus Media Services Managing Director Evan M. Cohen gives his insight to possible sponsors regarding the demographic, “Sci-fi fans and young people interested in the supernatural will find this show to be fun. It's a private investigator slash love story mixed into one. This show will bring fans of two genres together.”

Grown up Ned (Lee Pace) puts his talent to good use by touching dead fruit and making it ripe with everlasting flavor. He opens a pie shop. But his gift leaves him wary of becoming close to anyone, as beautiful waitress Olive Snook (Kristin Chenoweth) finds out. His life as a pie maker gets more complicated when private investigator Emerson Cod (Chi McBride) finds out about Ned's secret. Emerson convinces the cash-strapped Ned to help him solve murder cases (and collect the hefty reward fees) by raising the dead and getting them to name their killers.

Ned is handed the case that changes his life forever. His childhood sweetheart, Charlotte "Chuck" Charles (Anna Friel), is murdered on a cruise ship under strange circumstances. Her death brings him back to his hometown of Coeur d' Coeurs to bring Chuck back to life, albeit briefly, and solve the crime. But once reunited with Chuck, Ned can't bring himself to send her back. He helps her escape after her grieving aunts, Lily and Vivian (Swoosie Kurtz, Ellen Greene), former synchronized swimmers Darling Mermaid Darlings, think they've buried her forever.

Chuck becomes the third partner in Ned and Emerson's PI enterprise, but she encourages them to use their skills for good, not just for profit. Ned is overjoyed to be reunited with Chuck, the only girl he's ever loved. Life would be perfect, except for one cruel twist -- if he ever touches her again, she'll go back to being dead, this time for good.

COPS celebrates 20 years on Guam television.

Guam's FOX 6 ran a special one hour COPS on September 29, 2007. The show featured classic COPS car chases, super-inebriated suspects, sizzling tasers, disheartening domestics, problematic perps and gutsy officers from coast to coast.

Highlights include: Officers in Fresno, California, question a stony suspect claiming he’s not driving under the influence despite the joint visibly tucked behind his ear. In Albuquerque, New Mexico, a male cross-dresser wearing a leopard one-piece is questioned. In Buffalo, New York, officers wrestle with a massive and hungry python hiding inside a residence. A suspect in Kansas City, Missouri, is so intoxicated when gets out from behind the wheel, he stumbles and lands a painful face plant. In a heroic rescue in Passaic County, New Jersey, officers save a man from danger in a raging river. Producer, writer, director John Langley created Fox Broadcasting Company’s television series COPS in 1988. The long-running Fox reality program, currently in its 19th season, pioneered the often emulated video verite format.

Sorensen Media Group CEO Rex Sorensen said, “This show highlights the kind of work law enforcement must do to catch criminals. When this show first aired I believed it would shed a positive light on the people who are sworn to protect communities all across America. Happy 20th COPS.”

Lotus Media Services Managing Director Evan M. Cohen said advertisers should consider COPS because it continues to draw viewers of all ages and incomes, “We're happy that COPS turned 20. It shows the strong viewership and reach of this brand. This show will be around for a little while longer.”
